VOLUNTEERS- The KEY to KRC's success!

Each event KRC hosts requires many hands working behind the scenes. If you want to participate and aren't able to race, we would LOVE to have you as a VOLUNTEER!!

Volunteers can help in many ways. Here are just a few things we need help with for every event:

- In person registration and bib pick up

- Race day

- course set up

- timing

- snack table

- aid stations

- course crossing and turn arounds

- bike leading and sweeping

Registration, snack table, aid station,

Every event, we are looking for help during in person registration which usually happens the evening before a race and/or the morning of. This entails helping hand out pre registered bibs and swag and helping others register as needed.
Each event also has a snack table at the finish line where volunteers can help replenish snacks as participants finish.
Aid stations are important to every race, volunteers can help fill water cups and hand them to racers as needed.

Bike Leader/Sweeper

Leaders and sweepers help keep track of race participants and aid in the overall safety of each event.

Leaders stay in front of the first participant; likewise, sweepers stay behind the last.

Course Support

Volunteers are placed at points on the race course to direct runners along - including street crossings, turns, turn arounds, etc.
